In a press release, CD Projekt Red announced it will be working with Warner Bros. Interactive to publish the game in North America. This is pretty big news because it means CD Projekt Red is at the point in development where it is concerned with lining up publishers for various regions.

Although exciting, the partnership isn’t exactly surprising. The two companies have been working together since the release of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Warner Bros. published both that game and its sequel, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, both of which turned out to be very successful, watershed games.

With that history, it’s obvious that the two companies understand each other and that a continued partnership in publishing only makes sense.

Until the game releases for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in the (hopefully near) future, I’ll just be sitting over here watching this gameplay video some more.
